This website is deliberately kept simple. We do not use cookies, analytics or tracking tools, or social media plugins, and we do not load any content (such as fonts) from third parties.

3. Hosting and server log files

This website is hosted by STRATO AG, Otto-Ostrowski-Straße 7, 10249 Berlin, Germany, in data centres located in Germany. A data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR is in place with STRATO.

When you visit this website, the server automatically records technically necessary information, in particular your IP address, the date and time of access, the page requested, your browser type and operating system, and the previously visited page (referrer). This data is processed solely to ensure the smooth operation of the website and to defend against attacks, and is deleted after a short period. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR; our legitimate interest lies in providing the website securely and without errors.

4. Contact form and email

If you contact us via the contact form or by email, we process the information you provide (name, email address, company if given, content of your message) in order to handle your enquiry. The contact form does not transmit any data to our web server: it only prepares an email in your own email program, which you then send to us yourself. No data is stored on the web server. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where your enquiry relates to a contract or pre-contractual measures, and otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. The data is deleted once it is no longer required for this purpose, unless statutory retention obligations apply.

You have the right at any time to:

• access the personal data we hold about you (Art. 15 GDPR)
• rectification (Art. 16 GDPR) and erasure (Art. 17 GDPR)
• restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR)
• data portability (Art. 20 GDPR)
